CTY HWY A, Athens, WI 54411

160 acres between Athens and Corinth in Johnson Township, owned and improved by one family across two generations. About 72 acres of tillable to the north is rented and currently in corn and soybeans. When the family bought it, they went to work on the fields, adding ditches, erosion corridors, field roads and access points to make the ground efficient and hold the soil.

About 88 acres of mixed mature hardwoods lie to the south: maple, oak, birch, ash and poplar, uncut for over 30 years. Fields wrap much of the timber, with well-used deer trails along the edges and inside wood lines. Timber to the south gives room to plan bedding and travel routes. Nearly surrounded by ag fields and set among other large tracts, the land draws deer from the area. Access from West and North
