The Captain's Reach is a fantastic 7 acre land parcel offering 340 feet of beautiful, elevated, deepwater frontage along Narraguagus Bay. One of the very best lots in the area, the parcel is mostly level with a mix of open fields, towering hardwoods, and spruce trees.
This is excellent high and dry ground (easily passes perc tests) with many wonderful building spots including a natural clearing perched right above the water. The shorefront commands stunning sunset views over the bay and features abundant wildlife with easy access to kayaking, canoeing, etc.
The property can be accessed from its frontage on Fickett's Point Rd. However, a wide path has been cut from the neighboring home (The Captain's House)- all the way into the property and down to the shore to allow you to get a full perspective of the land.
This parcel of land can be combined with the adjacent shorefront home (The Captain's House) to create one of the area's most expansive and versatile property holdings. Electric is readily available from neighboring poles. This fantastic property is located on a quiet, wooded peninsula, just 5 minutes from the full-service, oceanfront village of Mil
bridge with its parks, grocery, pharmacy, banks, medical center, small restaurants, and new arts center. Just 30 minutes to Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park / 1 hour to Bar Harbor in the MDI section of Acadia National Park, Quoddy Head Lighthouse, and Campobello Island Canada / 1.5 hours to Bangor Int'l Airport.
