Meditation Lane lot: 2082, Guild, TN 37340

Set along the bluff inside the gates of River Gorge Ranch, this 2.09-acre homesite looks out over layers of ridgeline that stretch to the horizon, and the day ends with a sunset worth slowing down for. Part of the lot has already been cleared, so the outlook is open and the next step toward a home site is easy to picture.

Mature hardwoods frame the property for privacy. River Gorge Ranch is a gated mountaintop community of more than 7,000 acres on the Cumberland Plateau, about 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga via I-24. The first amenity center is underway, adding a pool, pool house, playground, dog park, tennis and pickleball courts and a firehall, with hiking trails throughout the community.

Riverdance Restaurant sits at the entrance, with views over the Tennessee River Gorge. The planned Village Square will add a fitness center, a pavilion, ponds and gathering spaces. Hales Bar Marina and Lookout Winery are just down the mountain for easy weekends, and Nashville, Huntsville, Birmingham, Atlanta and Knoxville are all within roughly two and a half hours.
