The lay of the land is beautiful. About half is open pasture and half is wooded. There is a pond on the property. Want a beautiful mountain retreat? This is it! The current owners did a preliminary survey to possibly divide part of the acreage into 4 lots with each being approx. .9 of an acre. Look for this under the documents. There is a natural area that looks like an old roadbed already in place. An investor could build 4 very rent-able cabins on the property and then also have use of the pond. Absolutely beautiful property, Restrictions will only be for a maximum of 4 houses if the land is made into a minor subdivision and no trailers. ## Location - **Address:** Tower Road, Newland, NC 28657 - **County:** Avery - **Coordinates:** 36.116401, -81.91742 - **Google Maps:** https://www.google.com/maps?q=36.116401,-81.91742 ## Listing Agent - **Name:** Marsha McManus - **Brokerage:** The Summit Group of the Carolinas - **Broker Phone:** (828) 898-3500 - **Listing URL:** [View original listing](https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/Tower-Rd_Newland_NC_28657_M98305-92268?f=listhub&s=HCAORNC&m=258853&c=propsimple) ## Photos ![Tower Road - Photo 1](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f1002891053r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 2](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f2836928354r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 3](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f2202314439r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 4](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f500535135r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 5](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f2298931093r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 6](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3579476339r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 7](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3212305126r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 8](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f2749813690r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 9](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f476961673r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 10](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f915489627r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 11](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3774723191r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 12](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3720273900r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 13](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f4095071000r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 14](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3615977765r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 15](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3247490053r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 16](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f2469167356r.jpg) ![Tower Road - Photo 17](http://lh.rdcpix.com/280bb30d616bb293af5b46c9919d89edl-f3011629127r.jpg) --- **MLS#:** 258853 | **Updated:** 2026-10-20 **Source:** listhub *Copyright © 2026 High Country Association of Realtors.
